Mercedes Concept-A Video
We had the first proper details on the Mercedes Concept-A earlier this week, which points the way – as a slightly tamed-down version – to the 2012 Mercedes A-Class. That Mercedes A Class will not just arrive as a hatch but will – in cojunction with the new Mercedes B-Class that will also utilise Mercedes new MFA platform – spawn models as diverse as a shooting brake, crossover, coupe and cabriolet. It seems – with all the derivatives that appear to be planned – that Mercedes are looking to out-MINI MINI in the variations on a theme game.
The Kia CUB Concept has been revealed at the 2013 Seoul Motor Show as a four door coupe powered by Kia’s 1.6 litre Turbo. Still, the CUB is a concept so a little bending of reality is the norm, and the CUB seems a perfectly sensible concept for Kia to be delivering, tapping as it does in to car buyers’ penchant for funky urban crossovers. Although we’re not entirely sure there’s a country mile in intent between the CUB and the Kia Provo we saw at Geneva.

A chrome effect grille surround and Eos-inspired headlights bring the luxury 4x4 in line with VW's latest models, while at the rear, revised lights, bumper and exhaust pipes spruce up the Touareg. New safety gadgets are introduced.
